This studio is about steel structure designing as per the latest codal provision and current industrial practices. In our project, we had to design an industrial shed with different capacities of cranes running(10ton to 50ton.) on each bay. We had o compare the Design using 2 different grades of steel i.e. fy250 and fy350. We understood how the behavior of steel members, such as rafters, columns, gantry girders, tie beams, and tension-only bracing was analyzed and designed with governing cases and connection design and details.
