This project focuses on designing a spiral pipe manufacturing plant using plate sections, comparing two structural models: one with lacing and battening and the other with solid plate sections. Adhering to IS 800 standards, it combines manual calculations and STAAD analysis to optimize results. The study evaluates structural integrity, cost-efficiency, manufacturing ease, and performance through 2D and 3D models, offering a comprehensive assessment of both designs. This integrated approach ensures accurate, reliable outcomes and valuable insights for selecting the most efficient and practical solution.
