Spiral Pipe Plant- Steel Industrial Structure

This project involves the design and analysis of steel structures for a spiral pipe manufacturing plant with an L-shaped layout comprising two interconnected structures of dimensions 262.5m × 30m and 54.5m × 30m. The first structure accommodates two cranes with 15T and 25T capacities operating in tandem, while the second structure supports a 120T crane. The design employs both plate sections and hot-rolled steel sections, with structural analysis performed using STAAD Pro. A parametric study will compare two configurations: bracket-supported gantry and column-supported gantry systems, focusing on structural performance, cost, and operational efficiency.
