This subject is an opportunity for students to study building activities on construction projects by periodic site visits to Load Bearing Structures ( Bungalow Type). Field training will help to reinforce the theory studied in the classroom in the relevant subjects mainly structures, construction technology, building services and engineering materials. Field Training on the construction site will provide opportunity to students of civil engineering and architecture to expand the understanding of construction methodology, materials & their consumption, mechanization, quantity surveying, productivity and related management aspects. Students will develop the skill of reading drawings and they will be able to better visualize the building components. Discussion classes planned will identify the good practices and highlight the need for better practices.
