URBAN SPRAWL MODELLING FOR DISASTER PRONE CITIES

The project deals with the selection of one Indian city based on its vulnerability to Disasters. Understanding master plan and studying key drivers of urban sprawl for the City. In order to predict and validate urban sprawl 4 year multi temporal, multi sensor images had been acquired, processed and analysed. Further SLEUTH model was used for prediction of Urban sprawl of Guwahati city keeping in mind its topography and sprawl factors.
