Location Intelligence for Retail Sector

Location Analysis was carried out to find the best-fit regions to sell mass goods and luxury goods based on the footfall data and car count data collected from the study area. The study area expanded from western banks of Sabarmati river to the SG Highway i.e. the west-central zone of Ahmedabad. Other variables such as property price, working members of a family, land prices, social media ratings, space syntax analysis, etc. were also considered. Based on the data, a formula was defined which showed a linear relationship between the variables and gave Mass Goods Score (MSG) & Luxury Goods Score (LSG).
