Urban Sprawl Modelling & Applications for Pune region

The Study deals with performing LULC classification and change detection between temporal datasets (1991/2001/2011/2020) using Geo-spatial tools and predicting the future urban sprawl pattern using Land Change Modeller (LCM)and Patch Level Land-use Simulation Model (PLUS) for the year 2031 in the region based on certain parameters which contribute to the expansion of the city and also the pockets of habitable areas are identified using MCDA techniques for the future expansion of the city.
