The Portfolio encapsulates the semester's focus on HVAC principles, practical instrumentation for Measurement and Experimentation, and simulation's role in optimizing HVAC systems. Through courses like ERV installations, gained useful insights into improving air quality and reducing energy consumption. Simulation modules deepened understanding of HVAC systems, including packaged DX, air and water-cooled chillers, chiller sizing, and sequencing, crucial for reducing the Energy Performance Index (EPI). This semester underscored the significance of well-designed and maintained air conditioning systems in curbing energy consumption, emphasizing the pivotal role of the HVAC lab in bridging theory and impactful practical applications.
