HVAC LAB | SPRING SEMESTER '24

Optimizing energy efficiency in buildings relies heavily on the performance of HVAC systems, which consume a substantial amount of energy. By enhancing these systems, overall energy efficiency can be improved, along with a reduction in energy costs. To acquire this knowledge, the HVAC LAB comprises a comprehensive study including fundamental concepts of the refrigeration cycle, alongside case studies for practical comprehension. It involves measurements and experiments to analyze occupant comfort while considering energy consumption. Additionally, building simulations help to analyze and optimize HVAC components, assessing their impact on both occupant comfort and energy efficiency.
