HVAC Lab studio focuses on  Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning of buildings. It started with quantifying ventilation and indoor air quality with respect to Indian and International standards. We then learned about the components of a refrigeration cycle in detail. Several experiments and measurement exercises were conducted to perfect the understanding of the theoretical concepts. These includes installation and testing of ERV, Measurement of indoor particulate matter concentration, Blower Door Test, Tracer Decay etc. and site visits as well. The course was concluded with simulation module where different HVAC systems were simulated for a given building in a chosen city.
