HVAC Lab | Spring Semester 2025

The HVAC Lab explores the thermodynamic fundamentals of ventilation, air conditioning, heating, and cooling through theoretical study, experimentation, and practical application. Since HVAC systems can account for up to 50% of a building’s energy use, optimizing their performance is essential for improving both energy efficiency and occupant comfort. To support this, the Lab offers a comprehensive study of HVAC system components, distribution systems, and loops, using simulation tools alongside measurement and experimental methods.
