HVAC Lab | Spring Semester '25

The portfolio showcases semester-long learnings in HVAC systems through theory, hands-on experimentation, and simulation. Initial modules focused on core concepts such as the refrigeration cycle, system components, system network, indoor air quality (IAQ), etc. Measurement and Experimentation involved practical exercises to assess infiltration, CO2 levels, and airflow. The HVAC design of an existing building was documented as a schematic exercise.
In the final module, simulations were conducted to understand the performance and impact of individual HVAC components within a building. The process emphasized system behavior, energy implications, and the role of design choices in improving efficiency.
