HVAC Lab | Spring Semester '25

The HVAC Lab course focuses on assessing HVAC system performance through a combination of theoretical concepts and practical measurements. Key topics include thermodynamics of refrigeration cycle, vapor compression cycle, fan laws, system types, and indoor air quality. The course involves hands-on use of instruments to measure airflow, temperature, humidity, power consumption, and thermal balance. It also includes system simulation, analysis of hybrid cooling strategies, and expert-led sessions on commissioning and case studies.
