The studio aims at understanding and application of BIM and lean concepts in the construction industry. This is done by undertaking two projects,  achieved through preparation of models and design coordination through BIM implementation on a pilot project which is followed by monitoring and optimization of a real time project using various lean principles. The live project taken was a residential apartment complex.  The roles of stakeholders were taken up by group members and modelling of systems, value engineering, scheduling, cost estimation, site layout planning, 4D simulation and clash detection were done in a collaborative approach.
