Implementation of BIM and Lean Tools is done using two projects, namely, a Pilot Design Project and a Live Project. In the former, the tools were applied during the design stage and in the latter, they were applied on a residential project during execution stage. Key takeaways are preparation of architectural, structural, service models, usage of collaboration platform, LOD vs LOS, quantity take-off, clash detection, 4D simulation, value engineering, process mapping, and progress monitoring using percentage planned complete (PPC) chart.
