Residential Project

The Integrated Construction Practices studio, part of the Monsoon Semester III in the Master's in Construction Engineering and Management program, places a strong emphasis on the practical aspects of construction processes and collaborative efforts. It leverages the use of relevant software tools to simulate real-life scenarios. This studio takes into account the contemporary developments in the construction industry, particularly emphasizing three key trends: Building Information Modeling (BIM), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and Lean Construction. These cutting-edge methodologies are employed to tackle the complexities and obstacles that are commonly encountered in modern construction projects. Through this studio, students gain hands-on experience and knowledge in applying these innovative practices to effectively address the challenges and demands of today's construction industry.
