Commercial High-Rise Project

The Integrated Construction Practices studio, part of the Master of Construction Engineering and Management program for Monsoon Semester III, focuses on practical methodologies and collaborative teamwork through the lens of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). Recognizing the increasing complexities of modern construction, the studio integrates advancements in IPD, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Lean Construction to enhance project efficiency and stakeholder alignment. The selected project — a commercial high-rise project with a building configuration of 4B+G+32 floors and a built-up area of 18,00,000 sq. ft.— serves as a foundation for applying these practices. Each group member played the role of a key stakeholder to explore the limitations of traditional delivery methods and assess how IPD and technology can transform construction management.
