During the first year of this course, we gained detailed knowledge on various topics such as building physics, passive strategies, HVAC systems individually. In the first part of this lab, we learned about the artificial lighting, daylighting and concepts of the visual comfort of occupants.In another part, we learned about the integrated design and processed the learning over the three semesters to explore energy code interpretation(Energy conservation building code) and whole building design, shading analysis, technologies, passive strategies.Energy analysis was done for an educational building in Delhi.The learnings combine concepts and practices simulation techniques, model calibration, physical measurement and data comprehension.
