Lighting and Integrated Design Lab

The portfolio contains the selected work from the modules on lighting design and whole building design. Using various performance metrics that support human vision and comfort, the first section of the studio focused on a quantitative and qualitative study of LIGHTING (daylight and electric lighting) in Space. The second section concentrated on integrating the concepts of passive strategies, HVAC optimization, and lighting taught in the previous semester to carry out whole-building energy simulation and assess energy performance.
