LIGHTING AND INTEGRATED DESIGN LAB

A comprehensive learning module, the Lighting and Integrated Design Lab covered daylighting evaluation, artificial lighting design and analysis, and facade design iterations to integrate the distribution of daylighting throughout the area. The entire building Design Module was created to help put the structures' relative energy consumption into perspective and to present an extensive list of possible energy-saving strategies. In order to save operation costs and boost the building's seasonal efficiency, a comprehensive analysis of the structure included climate analysis, façade and envelope optimizations, daylighting optimizations, ventilation and HVAC optimizations, and using Renewables.
