Lighting,Integrated Design Lab and Whole Building Design

A comprehensive learning module, the Lighting and Integrated Design Lab delved into day-lighting optimization, artificial lighting design, and facade design to enhance daylight distribution. A Whole Building Design Module assessed energy consumption and presented energy-saving strategies. A detailed structural analysis, encompassing climate analysis, facade and envelope optimization, day-lighting optimization, and HVAC optimization, aimed to minimize operational costs and enhance seasonal efficiency. The project focused on an educational building in Mumbai, India, seeking to improve thermal and visual comfort in the warm and humid climate.
