This studio project involves the design of Sarojavedika, a proposed railway station with steel as the primary structural material. The project began with a detailed study of various steel structural members—beams, columns, trusses, and connections—focusing on their behavior, design principles, and relevant IS codes. These learnings were then applied to the station’s structural design, integrating functionality, stability, and architectural expression through efficient steel construction methods.
