Passive comfort lab

Passive comfort lab dealt with the basics of building physics making one understand how energy gets transferred in a building envelope and interiors, and how it affects the thermal comfort of the occupants. Constructing a working prototype helped in better understanding of the same. The subject also deals with passive comfort strategies, in which various instruments and tools were introduced to understand the building, its surroundings, and climatic conditions. In order to add to the practical perspective sessions from practicing professionals in the same field and site visits were also conducted.
