BE4002

Passive Comfort Lab

The first half of the studio focused on learning the concepts of building physics through study, experimentation, design, construction, and analysis of box-type solar cookers. The latter half was about the application of these concepts through building simulations. This was done through parametric studies for various variables to see their effect on Energy Performance Index (EPI), Cooling Load, Heating Load, Lighting Consumption and Life Cycle Costs.
