The passive comfort lab studio started with an introduction and explanation of weather files, their structure plus use. Later Heat Transfer Principles were explained with related calculations given as assignments. For the MID-SEM project "Solar Cooker" was developed taking base-case as Tulsi solar cooker. DesignBuilder software was used to calculate Heating/Cooling loads and to conduct yearly simulations. To establish a practical approach "Life Cycle Cost Analysis" was practiced to judge the better design choice. As an END-SEM Assignment, Thermal Load Optimisation was performed.
