Passive Comfort LAB

Passive Comfort lab is the base of Building Energy Efficiency, which starts with the basics of elements of climate and Solar Geometry. Concept of Heat Transfer - Radiation, Conduction and Convection; how a building affects these elements is the second part of the course. There after comes Thermal comfort which is based on the above learnings. Achieving thermal comfort using passive strategies is the next learning. Understanding climate zones and applying appropriate passive strategies. After studying all aspects, applying learnings using design builder will provide the results for energy consumption. Even looking at Life Cycle Analysis and different ECMs to reduce energy consumption.
