PASSIVE COMFORT LAB

The Passive Comfort Lab studio is about to understand the principles of building physics and heat transfer principles on building envelope - walls, roofs and fenestrations. Solar cooker model was designed to apply the heat transfer principles and parameters affecting the performance was analysed to improve its performance. Visual interpretation of building models was then carried out through software such as Design Builder, Energy Plus and the thermal comfort assessment performed on D-View and Climate Consultant.
