DESIGN OF BASKETBALL COURT ROOF USING BAMBOO

This studio explores the innovative use of bamboo in the design of curved roofs and arches for a basketball court. Focusing on sustainable architecture, we investigate how bamboo's flexibility and strength can create dynamic, organic structures that support large spans. Our goal was to demonstrate bamboo's versatility as a sustainable building material capable of meeting modern structural and architectural and Structural demands. Through this design approach, we aim to push the boundaries of sports structures by incorporating bamboo as a sustainable, cost-effective material for modern, dynamic sports spaces.
