Course Name: SD4007 - Structural Forms and Materials Project Title: Design of a Timber Basketball Court A basketball court was designed using timber as the primary material. Through this project, the structural properties of timber, including its advantages and limitations, were studied. Various structural members, such as beams, purlins, arches, and columns, were designed following IS codes to ensure compliance and efficiency. Hands-on experience through laboratory tests and model-making was gained, and sustainable practices were emphasized.
