Design of Treatment Plants

In a community where fresh water is becoming increasingly scarce. Sewage water must be recovered and treated in order to be used again. The goal is to determine the cost of converting recovered water to fresh water in non-human use situations and to efficiently construct a plant. A 4 million liters per day (MLD) water treatment plant and a 33 MLD sewage treatment plant are the two concepts that have been developed. These designs follow the CPHEEO guidelines for treating water and sewage, which include a thorough level analysis, a flow diagram that is based on biological gradients, and careful facility provisioning inside the treatment plants.
