A Place to Watch Rain | Panjim, Goa

The project is a place to watch rain which situates on a site in Panjim, Goa. This space seeks into climate, the required climatic analysis and necessary calculations to create the best possible environment for watching rains while having a cup of coffee as a brief for this design. The project also takes a closer look at the vernacular language, materials and architectural expression that works efficiently for the site and the climate. After a comprehensive study of the climate in this region of Goa, the most suitable period is the month of July (8:30 am) to watch a heavy rainfall with a pleasant temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.
