Rector Bungalow is an old residential bungalow located in the campus of the Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. Built in the year 1900, this property is an open exhibition of ancient architectural expression and practices. The material palette includes exposed brick walls and a double layered wooden hip roof. This structure not only serves well as a case study for structural understanding but also for its material palette, joinery details and ultimately its expression.
