Aim - Understanding different micro level planning models in selected cities of Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and providing recommendations to improve it. Objectives - To develop a clear understanding of the current statutory frameworks with provision of micro level planning in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. To develop a deeper understanding of the evolution of different microlevel planning models in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. To study the real examples of microlevel planning on ground and derive learnings from the same in selected cities of the selected states. To evaluate and compare the implementation of this framework through implemented microlevel planning schemes in the selected cities of the selected states. To compare the statutory planning mechanism of different states on a matrix and make a clear set of observations that can be useful for providing recommendations to improve the planning and implementation
