Sculpt It! Fired Clay Forms

Clay Novice: Embarking on the Wheel

In the beginners' pottery class, one was introduced to a range of techniques that extend beyond traditional wheel throwing. Through hands-on instruction in pinching, coiling, and slab making, we explored various avenues of pottery creation. The therapeutic environment of the class nurtures creativity, empowering one to craft intricate tall sculptures and experiment with different forms. Additionally, we learnt the art of glaze-making and application, adding depth and vibrancy to their finished pieces. This holistic approach not only enriched artistic expression but also fostered skill development and personal growth, making each session a fulfilling and rewarding experience.
