This dissertation aims at understanding an approach for documenting the waterlines as a cultural Landscape- situated in the city of Bidar With the documentation approach of archival materials as a base- documenting the tangible – the documentation of the bawadis was initiated. This water system is not documented as an individual entity but with the context. Waterscapes are an important source of archival resources through which the civilizations are understood, and the evolution of the place is also studied.
