My internship semester was split in two parts. The first 18 weeks were with Flying Elephant Studio, an established architecture firm. I worked with a small group of seven junior architects led by two principal architects, Rajesh Rangenthan and Iype Chako.I worked closely with an architect and landscape architect on the landscape of a competition project. And some client presentations too.
The next 12 weeks, I worked at a start-up, DRaw Studio, started by two architects who previously worked with Khosla Associates for some years. Being the only intern, I was exposed to the all practicalities of professional practice.
