Changing Facades of a Rooted Ideology

Reimagining Mass Housing Ideologies through the Cases of Aranya Housing and Belapur Housing: Incrementality and its realisation in the context of India was derived and perceived by architects like Charles Correa and BV Doshi. They introduced this ideology that respected community background and empowered them through architecture. This essay aims to address how the contextualisation of that ideology fostered varied relationships, reimagining the relationships between individuals and the family, family and community, and dwellings and neighbourhoods and how projects catering to a similar user group have ascertained after decades of engagement.
