This project, guided by Mangesh Balsare under the SWS program at CEPT, delves into the architectural and cultural essence of Mandu's historic ruins. Beyond their monumental scale and intricate craftsmanship, Mandu’s ruins narrate stories of life, resilience, and transformation. The studio explores the silent interplay of built forms, landscape, and time, encouraging participants to uncover the layers of meaning embedded in these structures. Through site studies, analytical drawings, and creative interpretations, the project aims to reimagine Mandu not just as a relic of the past but as a living archive of wonder, inspiring fresh perspectives on architectural heritage.
