This research explores people’s lived experiences and the spatiality of events surrounding Police Action with focus on specific locations across Bidar district in Karnataka. It takes forward the on-going place based transdisciplinary research in Bidar being conducted by Living Labs Network and Forum (LLNaF) in collaboration with Team of Youth United for Vigilance, Awareness and Action (Team YUVAA). The narrative presented here is weaved through the connections built on a set of oral histories at places across Bidar district. Using cartographies to further narrate the events helped understand the spatiality of these events and their memories. It set context to the specific geographies where each event took place, which becomes a key aspect in countering generalised histories.
