Elements of Calligraphy

Calligraphy

The Calligraphy class aimed to learn the basics of writing in Chancery font which is a Latin script. The basic strokes are learned through a particular manual with a chisel marker and then with metal calligraphy tools. The aim is to understand basics and then evolve with the keys and tools. This provides a foundation to experiment vivid forms through art, typography and creating new fonts.
