Multi-Model Transit Hub & Sports Center

The extension of the tramway in Kleinwabern provides an opportunity to create a new center for the area while combining both functions of transport with recreation. The center achieves this by keeping itself true to the agricultural community it sits within by raising itself above the ground and allowing the landscape and people to flow freely through it. The sports fields placed above efficiently reduces land usage while also providing a vista towards the Gurten and the Aare on two sides. In this way, the center is a whole, bringing together people and creating a new landscape that keeps alive the calm and serene qualities of the rural fields while stimulating everyday activity and fast pace of the urban realm. A new dimension is hence unlocked - both stimulating and serene.
