The study covers building construction, layout development, and land use conversion. The research involved a thorough review of legal sources, including the TNCDBR document and consultations with stakeholders such as government officials, developers, and investors. The review identified drawbacks in TNCDBR, while the consultations recognized systemic issues in the approval process due to multiple levels of authorities involved. The report provides recommendations such as improving the content in TNCDBR, reducing the number of documents required, and integrating clearances of departments in the Single window portal.
