The presented essay is a study of Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, one amongst many temples in the Khajuraho group of temples. The research is mainly focused on understanding how temple architecture was derived in the Medieval Period. It focuses on the geometry of the form, understanding the role of geography in different temple architecture styles, learning about methods such as the SCS digging deeper into the concepts of Vastu Purush Mandala and finally understanding the correlation between consciousness and space. In conclusion, the essay correlates consciousness and space within the spectrums of understanding the form of Kandariya Mahadeva Temple.
