Form Kinematics and Movement

The studio started with the exploration of different types of movements and choosing the one that interested us the most. From movement to principle to application,  chosen principle for me was the Rocking movement and through further explorations into various problems, the concept narrowed down to providing a dedicated cycle parking and locking system for the daily commuters in a public space. For the same, three approaches were considered from lifting to seesaw to a straightforward cycle locking system. Further, Material usage governed the decision-making process for all three and one of them was worked upon.
