Housing As Urban Insert | CEPT

Project was to build spaces for youth in an old city of Nanavat area in Surat.In the old city of Nanavat, many houses have been demolished for making new ones,apartments and commercial buildings withing the old city.Main focus was to revive the spacial as well as physical form and nature of to-be-built by studying its existing houses and concerns regarding them.Spaces like P.G for boys and girls,Cafe,Dorms,Kitchen and Hostel is made on the demolished site.
