Road transport network in a region includes design of pavement for drainage and traffic. The drainage design is often iterative and includes the ground levels and the transverse slope and longitudinal slopes. The drainage design is very important because it is one of the major reason for the failure of roads. Many alternatives are possible for designing the same road network and multiple iterations may be done in order to optimize the network problem keeping in mind the drainage
