Energy Analysis of NZEB from Long-Term Data

The Directed Research Project aimed to derive scientific conclusions from energy feasibility study of the Net Zero Energy Building located at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, as a case analysis. The study analyzed over eight years of energy consumption, generation, and surrounding environmental data acquired from BMS from October 2017 to December 2023 at hourly intervals. The data parameters and sources in the NZEB were identified and extracted data was grouped as energy, environmental, and behavioral/occupant-based. The research methodology was kept in line with ISO50001, ISO50002 and ASHRAE228 and used widely accepted KPIs from standards such as ASHRAE, IGBC and NBI.
