FA-BARCH-Exchange Semester

The pedagogy at Escola da Cidade typically consists of a range of practical, contextual, and analytical exercises for all courses, hence the name "City School Association". The semester was a culmination of six courses: Vertical Studio, Project Methodology, Construction Site, Architectural Drawing, History of Architecture and the City, and City Poetics. 
The studio looked at the lives of the women affected by the "crack" addiction in the area "Cracolandia, Santa Efigenia". The focus was on a collective called "Tem Sentimento", which was working with these individuals to improve their welfare and progress, both financially and mentally. The final output was a documentary.
