Tech-3: Building Services

Syntegra

Additional Work.

As present day architecture is not only about inhabiting the people but also about inhabiting their requirements, architecture has become a home for several services. Syntegra is a synergic integration of services such as Fire safety, electrical, HVAC and Plumbing to the proposed intervention of a training center for sustainability, which teaches students and construction workers through building process itself by becoming a source for exploration of new materials and understanding their relationship with each other.

Salient Factors such as system efficiency, simplicity in operation, low maintenance, optimizing spatial requirements, safety, sustainability, cost effectivity and , to a certain extent, aesthetics. These considerations aim to anticipate and suggest modifications to the intervention, thereby preventing surprises, cost escalations, delays, or alterations during the construction stage. The goal is to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the intervention while maintaining creativity and maximizing project benefits, without compromising on the aforementioned factors.
