“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we have been waiting for. We are the change that we seek”.

African-American music is one of the most pervasive African-American cultural influences in the United States today and is among the most dominant in mainstream popular music. Hip hop, R&B, funk, rock and roll, soul, blues are some of the genres. NBA constituents 76% of black players, is a perfect example of equal opportunity.
With progress in the economy, urbanisation and digitization, the world is witnessing a tremendous change where connectivity seems to be easy. This is a global village, where whether you are a black or white, one needs not to care about. If both blacks and whites understand and rejoice the gains of the past, however, we will move forward with the optimism, dignity, hope and energy that further led to the evolution of progress.
But the question still remained unanswered. “How far we have come and how far we have to go?”
